1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of all services by ICB Clinics Pty Ltd (ICB) (“we”, “us”, “our”) to clients (“you”, “your”).
By booking, attending, or receiving any consultation or related service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

  • ICB provides medical consultations, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing management relating to peptide and hormone therapy within the scope of practice of registered medical practitioners.

  • We do not manufacture, compound, or sell any therapeutic goods or medications.

  • All medications, if prescribed, are dispensed only by independent, TGA-licensed compounding or registered pharmacies.

  • All treatment recommendations are made solely at the clinical discretion of the treating practitioner, based on individual assessment and medical appropriateness.

3. Professional Standards and Compliance

  • Our practitioners are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  • All clinical activities are conducted in accordance with:

    • Medical Board of Australia’s Code of Conduct for Doctors in Australia,

    • Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) advertising and supply regulations, and

    • Australian Consumer Law (ACL) provisions regarding services.

  • We do not advertise or promote the use of any unapproved therapeutic goods, nor do we make therapeutic claims unless supported by TGA-approved indications.

4. Appointments and Consultations

  • Appointments may be booked online, by phone, or in person.

  • You must provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking.

  • Consultation fees are payable at the time of booking or as otherwise arranged.

  • Appointment times are strictly observed; late arrivals may reduce consultation duration without fee adjustment.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time may incur a fee equal to 100% of the consultation charge.

  • Refunds will only be issued in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, such as where the service was not provided with due care and skill.

  • Refunds are not available for completed consultations or a change of mind.

6. Clinical Disclaimer

  • All medical advice and treatment plans are based on professional assessment and current evidence available at the time of consultation.

  • Individual results may vary, and no guarantee is made regarding therapeutic outcomes.

  • You must disclose all relevant medical conditions, current medications, allergies, and past treatments to ensure safety and appropriate care.

  • ICB is not responsible for adverse outcomes where relevant information has been withheld or inaccurately provided.

  • Our services do not replace emergency or acute medical care. For urgent medical attention, contact 000 or attend your nearest emergency department.

7. Prescription and Pharmacy Relationships

  • Prescriptions are issued only where clinically indicated, at the discretion of the treating practitioner.

  • We do not receive commissions or incentives from any pharmacy or compounding facility.

  • The prescribing doctor does not hold any ownership interest or financial benefit in any pharmacy to which prescriptions may be sent.

  • The choice of pharmacy is always yours, and you may request your prescription be directed to any TGA-licensed compounding pharmacy.

8. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Follow all medical and post-treatment instructions provided by your practitioner.

  • Attend recommended follow-up appointments for monitoring and dose adjustments.

  • Notify your practitioner of any side effects, changes in health status, or new medications.

  • Treat all clinic staff and practitioners respectfully and professionally.

We reserve the right to terminate services for misconduct, abuse, or non-compliance with medical guidance.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • We are committed to protecting your personal and health information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

  • Your data is collected only for clinical and administrative purposes and securely stored.

  • Information will not be shared without your consent except as required by law (e.g., mandatory reporting, health authority requests).

  • Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, ICB and its practitioners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

  • Our liability, if any, is limited to the cost of resupplying the service or a refund of the consultation fee, as required under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Third-Party Referrals and Laboratories

  • Referrals to independent laboratories, pathology services, or pharmacies are made for your convenience and clinical necessity.

  • We do not control, supervise, or accept liability for the performance of third-party providers.

  • You are encouraged to review their terms, pricing, and professional credentials independently.

12. Amendments to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, or operational requirements.
The latest version will always be available on our website or upon request. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
